Operating Principle

During dialysis, smaller molecules and dissolved components can pass through the semipermeable membrane, while larger molecules above the nominal MWCO are predominantly retained inside the cassette.

The Slide-A-Lyzer G2 cassette was developed as a convenient alternative to conventional dialysis tubing. It is designed to simplify sample loading, dialysis and subsequent sample recovery.
