Description
The DMSO-safe Acrodisc® syringe filters are specifically designed for applications
requiring reliable filtration and sterilization of solutions containing
DMSO (dimethyl sulfoxide) or other chemically demanding organic components.
The robust polypropylene housing combined with a
hydrophilic nylon membrane provides excellent chemical resistance.
These filters are compatible with DMSO and show very good resistance
to esters, bases and alcohols.
Due to these properties, the filters are well suited for demanding laboratory
applications in research, development and bioprocessing. Typical applications include
sterile filtration of media used in cell cryopreservation
and related workflows.
The filters are sterile (EtO) and individually packaged,
supporting controlled handling and high process safety in the laboratory.
